Getting rid of that dragline was the best thing Roadway ever did. I used to pull the dragline a lot back in the day. It was a good position for a young man with a strong back and weak mind. They often put newbies on it. The old guys weren't motivated to move fast enough to keep up with it.

what years were the lines in charlotte used? i started in the north and the lines were already discontinued/not used. In the late 80's early 90's I heard the fac in charlotte was state of the art set up for hand jacks to use the line, instead of needing to load everything on carts.
