Reading about this tragic freak accident which killed a trucker I'm reminded about another in the past that spooked me for a long time.

I was running to Montreal pretty regularly when this happened back in 2006 in a Montreal suburb.
Quebec provincial police said Sunday that at least five people were crushed to death in their cars after an overpass near Montreal collapsed.

We didn't run under that particular bridge but we did go under a number of others which were constructed the very same way. Needless to say it was a bit unnerving every time I drove under an overpass up that way for quite a long time after that event. And now on an Interstate Highway at a railroad overpass. Yikes! So sad for all those who perished in both these events.
