we have tons of old useless trailers setting around clogging up our service centers taking up valuable parking spaces. why not hire a team to scrap them?

Averitt has been doing a good job at getting rid of the old trailers, having them at the bigger serctrs makes it easier to sell them. In the past they just were parked wherever and they just rotted away. At CLT last week they must have gotten rid of a bunch, because there was a lot of parking there. Unfortunately NAS is the dropping off point for EVERYTHING....little or no thought is given about the parking issue, by the spring hopefully it will be resolved. At KNX there is a YARD DOG at nite that actually takes the time to re spot trailers so T/L drivers passing thru have a place to park. I wish DAL and NAS would do the same thing. If your ever in need of a trl...take a look at the Rxxxx trls ...actually they are not in bad shape.
But in DAL, they have an over abundance of PODS. You can park and block in those things and tick some one off.
