We heard from our t/m last friday 05/15/08 that he was to be in a meeting in two weeks about change coming he said he already knows somrthings but can't say till ofter meeting has anyone heard anything on this?
It probably has something to do with the revamping of the PSE's aka Utility work. Here at 004 our Branch Manager informed me this past Wednesday that the Next Day Exchange Point (NDXP) in Springfield, Mo. would be shut down in June. 003 and 004 would be the new meet points for the NDXP. I am not sure how many terminals will be using Kansas City as the meet point, but here in Little Rock we will be getting as many as 15 terminals coming into Little Rock to exchange freight. They have already designated the 15 doors on our dock that will be used for these exchange points. The one NDXP driver that we had going to Springfield will now have his run converted to a Meet and Turn going to Springfield to meet a driver out of Kansas City.
