    http://www.businessinsider.com/jobs-report-october-2017-11
    • Job growth bounced back in October after a slowdown in September that was driven by the impact of the hurricanes Irma and Harvey. Restaurants, bars, and hotels recorded the biggest rebounds.
    • The unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, its lowest level since 2000.
    • Wage growth was flat month-over-month. The average was dragged down by the number of lower-wage employees who returned to work after sheltering from the hurricanes
Maybe the Tax Reform can raise wages .

More jobs available. It's no wonder why these younger generations hate Trump.
They idolize a guy who's first job came at age 40.

Trucking, the trades ect. are begging for people and pay pretty we'll. When I was out of high school these types jobs were almost impossible to get.
I almost have to assume people not working don't want to.

Yeah but...the news article reads that pay is not going up despite low unemployment. When we were out of high school those jobs paid enough to raise a family and live a good life, today they don't.

Got to let the system play out for a while to see the impact. If these companies don't raise their pay to be competitive, they'll go out of business because they won't find employees.
A former employer of mine is facing that issue as we speak.

I guess it's how you want to look at things.
My dad had a car with a stick shift our house never had A/C ect. I've always lived better than than there's a lot more stuff to pay for today.

Yes, the cost of living has definitely gone up, but so have the wages. Anyone that says otherwise is only lying to themselves.
I'm not as old as most of you guys, but for the past 30+ years as an adult, the wages around me have basically doubled, and in some cases tripled.
