Las Vegas Signs

As of today LAS VEGAS signed cards , we should know by what margain over the weekend....Looking at around 85% to 95% signed..:smilie_132:

Rochester finally got the green light for our card signing meeting.
Its to late for me,but I'm want to say good luck to all of my co-workers.

I hope the non-union to union transistion will be painless at our terminal.

Apo, who says you have to retire? Maybe you could gear jam for a bit longer and help with the transistion!!!

...looks like North Carolina(Charlotte,Greensboro,Raleigh,Fayetteville,Kinston,Wilmington,Hickory,Asheville) have signed enough cards..

thanks for your kind thoughts hugnlug.
Its time for me to hang up my steering wheel gloves.
After 45 years my body is saying its time to get out of trucking.
My clutch knee is really starting to hurt, and won't bend as good as my right knee.
I only use the clutch to start out,and to stop, but after doing that action,as well as climbing up,and down from my day cab,and my trailer for all those years.
Well my knee just isn't going to put up with it anymore.

I'm sure my terminal will do well with the card check.
I think we probably have close to 100% of everybody thats fed up with working as a non-union employee for a union company.

Their is quite a history with the Teamsters union and Motor Cargo in Reno.
These Motor Cargo guys were pretty strong for a long time. Along comes OVNT/UPS and it kinda fell apart.
Don't count these guys out just yet.
They were on a white paper contract if I remember right.
