How many of you union trolls actually work for FedEx? I bet maybe only a handful! You trolls that don't work for FedEx are going off from what other people say....If you actually worked here you would know how it really is! It's not that bad and if you stick up for what you think is right it can work out for you...I should know...I was recently threaten with termination due to some things in my truck...I fought the decision and they came back and actually agreed why I did it and also one of the things I had they said was illegal to have in the truck and I fought them on that too cause no where in the employee hand book does it state that we are not allowed to have them in the truck so I won that argument also. So once again if you work for this company and fight for what you believe is right it can work in your favor! Don't let the trolls blind you with promises and lies they can't deliver on...what they say is not guaranteed and they can't promise you anything...the only thing they can promise is that they get our money from dues to line their pockets while we still work our butts off!

Its more like an opinion on the union, then a union question..?.

I believe I should make the same pay as anyone else doing the same job I do! I believe our insurance is going up every year and our deductibles for a specialist is ridiculous! Check you hand book and tell me how we can fight those two! I don't have a problem with the rules, if I did I would wouldn't have been here over 24 years! I haven't thrown my hat in for or against the union! Unions and corporations alike can both play dirty! It's everyone's own decision!

First off, I am glad you prevailed in your argument. With that being said, your opinion is somewhat selfish. What I mean by that is very simple. You seem intelligent. You obviously can argue your position. What about the guy who can't, for whatever reason. Maybe you would make a good Teamster BA one day but that is not for everybody. There are many cases that the average Joe can't argue. Should they not have the opportunity to have someone speak on their behalf if they can't do what you did? Everybody deserves an opportunity to be heard whether they can do it themselves or if they need help. That is what it is about. It is about opportunity, a voice, respect and dignity. You can state that my $58.00 per month in dues money I pay is going to line someone's pockets but I can tell you this; my BA works his butt off for us and is a good guy. He puts more time in than any of us do because he works a lot of weekends. He earns his paycheck. Do they all? Probably not. There are some bad apples in every basket. The job they do is not glamorous or for that matter very desirable but to get quality you have to pay a decent wage and I have no problem with what my Rep gets paid.

I have to disagree with you on him someday being a good BA.
He has, in the past, come on here and outed a person by name because he thought that person to be a slacker.

Must be all the trolls petitioning the NLRB for a union vote....

the reason is you said no more name calling truckingboards will remain a respectable place. the guys on here were just called trolls, don't get me wrong didn't hurt my feelings a bit. but lets be fair on here all i'm saying.smokestack already got me awhile back so please stick to your word.social-fedex broke your own rule you just stated the other day. have a good day my friend.
 
Yeah boy don't vote the union in and see what we get in the future, probaly get 10 cent raise next year along with a rise in insurance oh boy cant wait.
