Those in the finance dept had to have known tht the balloon payments were coming due. I beleive they waited to try to get another pound of flesh from those guys. But if anyone follows history and how much money banks lent to South America and third world countries knowing full well they can never pay it back. Banks dont want the principal, just the interest, and maybe Warren Buffett will swoop in and save Yellow or some Vulture capital firm
