TForce | UPS Freight Union Vote

S'Hawk1; It's just like the last time they tried to get in. They will use anyone they can. Retired persons, folks from other companies, even homeless people to TRY to make a point. Ignore the folks and their talk. If they say we will have this & that, ask for it in writing. You won't get it. They know all the promises are B.S. They can't promise anything. It's all goes into negotiation. What they tell us is nothing short of propaganda.
Do I have to prove to I'm a UPSF employee to vote? Cry baby.

Sign the cards, get the majority and go over his head. Otherwise, you will still have the same company tactics, with a different name on the door. Going on personal past experience with Leo, all I can say is the more he keeps from you, the more he gets for himself.
You said that very clearly,,,I vote union ..SIGN THE CARDS :duh:

Over half my dock and jocky and shop road drivers and city will vote teamsters ''YES'' RIGHT NOW........TEAMSTERS YES>>>leo NO ''stop the strong arm tactics of OVNT managment'' yepp ''OVNT'' SAME managment just a UPS flag on our flag pole. make the call to the hall then

Mud-flap it's not the dockworkers fault that freight has dropped off. My opinion is that the numbers game that management has been playing has caught up with them. I'm in linehaul and no better than that, so if it means anything your not the blame.

Bring on the HOERSES ,hell yes ,yes, yes , this is similar to an orgasm... YES, YES, YES.

My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".

This Person will have the ability
to tolerate mentally challenged dispatchers

i belive they dont want us to go union is that ups contrack is up in 2008 thats why they bought a nounion company. So if ups gos on strick well u no the rest.................

"you know the rest"?

What are you as UPS Freight going to do run UPS?

At last count UPS is 25 times bigger than UPS Freight.
You except 15,000 UPGF workers to do the job of over 375,000 UPSers and still run UPS Freight?
Think again junior, your eyes are bigger than your belly.

Yes, I can see it now. We will just push the freight aside and deliver thousands of packages per day with our big trucks. GET REAL!!!!

Last ups strike, evry ltl was working their freight, and it pushed evryone past capacity. Hell we were working freight out in the yard. Thats multiple ltls, not one. And you think you guys would work it all? You couldn't handle a 10th of it.
Not busting you chops, just trying to make a point.
Sorry busternite, I used the wrong quote.

I agree with you T251.. It is absurd to think that we would even try to pick up your slack. I think it would be a really stupid move if UPS tried a force us to do something like that.

Hey T251,

Here we go again people think they know more than what they actually know. You are right he does not have any idea. UPGF might and very unlikely be able to run feeder routes with parcels and run line-hall with freight but UPGF is short on drivers now and from what I understand package is also short on drivers. Even if they were able to run feeder operations they would not be able to distribute all the parcels to the customers. That would have to be up to package to figure out. But it won't come true. LOL!

If its true that theres a driver shortage then why is everyone of us UPS Freight haulers worried about the main United Parcel package people giving us to boot out the door?
Last year I remember my TM say one of the reasons they bought Overnite was because they had very good workers.

Now we all know good drivers are a rare find.
Anyone can turn a wheel, and most can shift the gears, but very few can do it safely, and for the most part be company minded.

May the Lord direct your path it works for me.
