TForce | UPS Freight Union Vote

So because we are Teamsters and believe in what we say, we are now union hacks?

Man, that's a sad way to look at things...

I put in sixty to seventy hours a week as a line driver, and I work my butt off for my wages and bennies. And the fact that I appreciate that my union helped me negotiate good pay and benefits now makes me a hack?

Huh...:paperbag1:

That can be controlled. But it's only a silly poll... not anything to be very worried about, and not very representative of much of anything at all...

I mean people who don't work for us...Voting to sway the vote....
A poll on these boards makes up 0% of the company's employees and is pretty much a waste of time and not worth argueing about.

A person out of Indy said the TM read a letter from UPS that stated that anyone wanting the union to sign the cards. Is there anyone from Indy that can verify that.

Skeeter why don't you post this question as a new thread instead of burying it 12 pages deep in a topic that more than likley no one is reading. The poll is closed.

Open a new thread with that question and you may get some more response or at least some intellegent ones

Skeeter,
No, that is not true. Bill C., the regional manager, read a prepared statement explaining what was going on with the card check agreement here in Indy. I'm assuming that since he was reading it from several sheets of paper that it was either sent by UPS or approved by UPS. They have been very careful here lately about what they say in regards to the union. UPS is being strict about enforcing the fair play agreement.

No last names please
