The following memo was posted in a couple of terminals last week.
From: Hub Manager...............
Subject: URGENT New Process for 1st Leg Cuts
Getting behind TCON,ing loads on time WILL NOT BE AN EXCUSS.
Effective the 1st of next month the entire system will be held accountable to cut the 1st Leg Cuts 100% on time on EVERY schedule. Falling to do so will result in the following.
1st offense of failing to cut 100% on time:
The manager of that facility will receive a final warning.
2nd offense of failing to cut 100% on time:
The manager of that facility will be removed.
This directive is comming from the President of our Company and must be taken seriously.
This means when it is time to cut the trailer IT WILL BE CUT, if all the freight is not on it, so be it (and yes we will still be held accountacle for due service and will he held accountable for tags), the schedule will not be held for any reason.
A schedule will NOT leave alte due to us not having the bills ready or the load TCON'ed, it will be cut in time to get the load TCON'es and noy hold the drivers for bills.
We will be held accountable to get all of our city freight back to the terminal by 1800.
TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY, THERE WILL BE MORE TO COME ON THIS SUBJECT.
