Why on earth would YRC get rid of any of the regional carriers? They've got almost everything they want, (next round of givebacks will address the pension and healthcare) and the only problem will be how the jimmies sell no pension, (but still full dues), and couple hundred a week for health care. Remember the welch will have to earn his raise now, and since they can't manage, the only way is to continue cost cutting. In a perfect world, we'd all be "independent contractors" ala fedex ground. We'd lease our tractors, you know be your own boss, control your own destiny. Nope, no way they'd allow brown or anyone to buy us.
