Is there any info out there on what these new jobs will be all about ? I know I would consider bidding one of these jobs if they were all turns and a set schedule , over here at Roadway we have no info on anything .
I assume you're referring to the Utility Employee (UE) jobs. They are local cartage jobs and will be turns. The UE will work the dock also maybe before he leaves but definitely at the distribution terminal he runs to. The UE will be on overtime after 8 or 10 hours, depending on your shift setup....5 8's or 4 10's......if you have to go to bed for a breakdown or weather or whatever you'll do so on overtime and stay on the clock until you get back home.
