SAIA | Vacation time?

Does anyone know why they start vacation "enrolement" so early? Whats the point how are you supposed to plan this far out? It used to be late december, Now the end of oct. It seems to me they just keep making it tougher to work here, Its not like they really do much to prep for vacations THAT far in advance, Except to black out weeks.

I think it all has to do with black out weeks. I'm all my time here I have yet to give them anymore that 1 month notice. On any vacation, never had any issues with getting it approved then again I don't try to take off on the 4th of July or Christmas those time will be taken by drivers with 15 to 20 years
