State Sen. Diane Allen, R-7th of Edgewater Park, said she was troubled by the lack of notice the company provided its employees. She said her office is researching whether the company violated state and federal laws that require companies to provide 60 days' notice of a closure or mass layoffs.

to all jevic employees there is a class action suit filed in new york court against jevic trans for violation of the warn act.. please call this number tell the girl on the phone you are a jevic employee they will ask you a few questions it is a class action suit against them they violated the 2007 warn act for those who been employed more then 8 years and the 1988 warn act for other employees pleas call the more the better we all deserve better treatment then what dave g. and tim c. and sun capital has did to us.. please call 1-877-468-8836.. they will email you a few forms to fill out.. good luck to all my fellow ex employees it was a hell of a ride... not a easy company and work to do but we did it and got it done..
