I spent time on an aircraft carrier, and I've seen a heavy cruiser up close but to have served on a battleship, in the Pacific during WW2, that had to of been awesome.

Wouldn't have to go back that far, Mud. The USS New Jersey dropped 250 16" rounds into Lebanon in 1984.
