Yellow | VILLAGE OF CHICAGO RIDGE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD

mud doesn't like the Tigers being 7.5 games behind the first place Ridge Sox, who by the way deserve to be in first place. Hopefully that will all change in June at Comerica Park.
I saw an ESPN exclusive just this morning that the tigers are rumored to be negotiating to change their home parks name to, Motown Ridge East.....

Informal Ms. Linda Estrada and Mrs. Chris Bennett approached the Board
Hearing regarding the rezoning of a property located at 10342 S. Normandy from
a R1 to a C2. Animal'Welfare would like to purchase this property and keep
the home and the garage there to use for a meeting area and for storage of
all fundraising material. There will be no kennel's, no dog runs, and no one
would be living or staying at this property. They would like to pave the back trailers. Animal Welfare now covers 52 communities and needs this
opportunity to grow. They currently have 3 shifts and 126 employees.
They would like to improve the existing home with some work and would
like to put a cedar fence around the area. Chairman Meslar did ask the
Board for an informal vote and the results were 4 yes and 2 unsure.
Ms. Estrada was informed that we need a current plat of survey to
move forward. She said that she would have that in as soon as
possible and the Public Hearing date would be set when that is
complete..

Unfinished The Board is requesting information regarding phase II prior to the
Business YRC Public Hearing dated June 23,d. They are asking that either
Mayor Tokar or the Attorney try to come to the June 9th meeting
or send in a letter updating them on all information that would help the
Board provide a better understanding of the project before the actual
hearing date.

New The Planning and Zoning Board is asking the Village Board, for all
Business future businesses, to go onto the business license portion of the agenda
when a letter of recommendation is submitted. Therefore if the business is
accepted - it's done. If the Village Board disagrees with a letter of
recommendation the Business License could always be denied or tabled.
