Anybody heard about an embargo on picking up volume loads. Our outbound supervisor asked me last night if we got the memo not to pick up volume freight. Said it’s tying up too much of our equipment.

The northeast is still grabbing volume loads. About 50% of my extra runs has been volume 1 billers

I would say that this is coming, Capacity in truckload is tightening more and more, so what do shippers do, just call the LTL carriers

One thing I did notice that I saw truckload shippers do, they would send out half the order 1 day and then send out the other half just so they can get the freight moving

At other LTL's these type of memos went out after the hurricanes last year.
