SAIA | Volvos in 2013

From a reliable source, word is we are going back to Volvo in 2013. It was also said they will be automatics. I imagine it will be the new package they are offering with the D13 and ishift trans. Volvo is pretty much guaranteeing 8-8.5 mpg out of the box on those. They will also have to either put in a network for DEF, or allow us to get it at the truckstop. Bc of the DEF, the were able to reduce the amount of egr, so they should be alot more reliable than the 08+ Volvo trucks, and far beyond the Internationals.

Please explain DEF to me. I know it stands for Diesel Emission Fluid but that's all I know. If we have to go to a truckstop to get it, better break out the comchecks, the horror.

Dallas team I meet said they get their DEF from tote bin on side of shop one gallon at a time . Hope they come up with a better system for those lucky enough to get a new 13 Volvo with Cummings motor, ill gladly trade anyone for their truck you take this combine and I deal with getting DEF deal
