The vote count begins today. The ballots have been picked up today and 2,163 more ballots were received, bringing the total to 211,453. The locals in the Eastern Region will be counted first. TDU will be updating local-by-local results as they come in.

Sandy Pope: 39,251
James P. Hoffa: 137,172
Fred Gegare: 54,148

Hoffa is gonna pull a Trump. People are going for old Jimmy. They forgot he's been dead for a long time. So don't seem so surprised. Voting for a name. What looks better on a shirt? Zuckerman? Hoffa?

zuckerman-12415 Hoffa-16067 i am encouraged by these numbers. Hoffa won the eastern regoin by 18,000 votes in 2011. it is less than 3600 right now.

we shall see when the areas effected by the CSPF are tabulated.
