It stands for eXPress One
We are just fine with our 50 different sup par pay scales, along with our crappy insurance, and top it off with our non existent pension.
I hope for the best for all you Conway/XPO guy's and gal's.
I don't know... I think anyone who has the cahoneys to spend 3 billion dollars six months after buying something for 3.5 billion dollars is pretty arrogant.
Arrogant.... Or a smart business man. Only time will tell.
He got an amazing deal. A nationwide LTL company with a huge fleet and so much real estate. A golden nugget in Menlo. People have filed lawsuits alleging that he is obligated to pay more than he did. Not even talking about how much more valuable this company would be if you ran it right.
Yes sir! You can't get away from old man Time. I believe he sees each sector or his business is able to support itself. Otherwise I'd say Arrogant.
Arrogant doesn't matter if you make it... This is business, not a spelling bee.
Show me the money!
For anyone.......at any company......if you don't like the pay, move along to somewhere else. A lawsuit can't force any business to pay any amount.
You need you shake them beer goggles off. Lawsuits to force him to pay more for the purchase of Con-way. They are alleging that the company was never offered for sale on the open market and that he paid an unreasonably low price for it. Which backs my belief that he got a hell of a deal, and couldn't afford to miss this opportunity. Regardless of his current financial position. And having just spent $3.5 billion on another acquisition.
I think that XPO knew exactly what they were doing with this purchase, and what was legal and what was not. This guy didn't just start in the business world, he knows the system.
Will those same investors that are crying right now, still be crying if the stock price goes wild and rises, and makes them a fortune? I doubt it.
FED EX moves roughly 110,000 LTL bills per day.
They first started out as Express One
Humility is an oft lost virtue. I suggest you go in search my friend.
And if you had taken the millisecond to scroll three posts down, you would have seen it was a sarcastic comment. You might try interjecting humour into your life... It makes it a lot more fun!
Oh I saw it. I just saw it as your attempt at a lame recovery. Levity is abundant in my life. Right there with humility my friend.
I'm glad. We all can use a laugh now and then.
Laugh now, cry later. .lol
You may be right.
Things are getting worse
