Read the MOU that's the reason why local 89 Louisville used area standard picketing cause we can't strike but it protected members from crossing line.

Ok. So maybe it wasn't officially called a strike by the Union. But when the workforce stops working and is picketing out near the gate, you can call it a Yoga class if you choose to, but it's still a work stoppage.

the company tried to pass out that letter after LO stood up for themselves, talking about a "no strike clause". there is no such thing. they are trying to scare other terminals away from standing their ground on anything.....

When the company has large enough violations, with or without "strike" language, when the employees stop working and picket, either the company fixes the problem, or the stoppage needs to spread like wildfire across the country to get their attention. And if they don't comply, the freight don't move. And if they shut the doors, fine......someone else will be hiring since the freight still has to be moved.
There is some risk to having a set of gonads, but if you don't want to keep getting shafted, sometimes you've got to expose your private parts to show that you've had enough.

that's bs, they put out that bs lies letter to scare guys who DONT read the contract.

That would apply to about 90% of my former co-workers. My TM could tell those fools that the sky was yellow and they'd believe it.
