Just wondering how other terminals were handeling weekend run selection.In Denver we have a first come,first serve sign up sheet.[We have 5 set weekend runs foresure]This includes P&D drivers and just about everyone eles.Does your terminal allow P&D and others to sign up before linehaul?Is there a rotation list so the same guy cant get it every week even if he gets to the sheet first?Anyone know the company policy on this?

We use to have two city guys who were regular Saturday drivers, so if we were on call we never worried about it b/c they had it covered. Well the milage on one of our laydown runs changed, so those guys started signing up on the weekend. They would not always work b/c the city guys would come in early Sat. morning. The l/h guys took it to a higher up, so now it has to go by l/h first by senority, then city on the weekend. It doesn't much matter to me I guess....this new run I'm on I never have enough hours to run the weekend anyway.
