With Estes, do truck drivers actually drive trucks or work the dock? Are there day runs instead of working nights? For new hires without 20 yrs at the company? How is the pay? Looking for something better never hurts!!!!!
We are swamped. Nearly 3500 miles last week and only remember about 200 empty. So is anyone hearing anything about increased bill counts or projections for the future ? Just came off the employment site, and 34 terminals are looking for P@D,40 terminals are looking for L/H, and 45 terminals are looking for utility drivers. These could be mutiple positions, so are they seeing increased business, or are they stocking up xtra drivers, to fill in for vacations this year ?

I've never had a problem drinking a beer or two or three before breakfast. I always wait until after 12 pm on Sunday though because of a guilty conscience I have.

The best layover run I ever had was Reno. Take the shuttle bus to the casino, have a few free beers with your coupons, and maybe some adult entertainment on the tables. Then run back to the hotel for your afternoon nap. Those were the days. TP
