What Country song was #1 on the day you were born

i was born when dinosaurs were still a glimmer in God's eyes, so there was NO country songs back then....

but..Gronk, Grogg, and Ugg, could literally strike up some "rocks" and we'd watch them "roll".....

then Jerry Lee Lewis came along, and stole our "rock and roll".....:LMAO:

Bird Dog -- The Everly Brothers

Pop song in the UK:
Carolina Moon / Stupid Cupid -- Connie Francis

Unfortunately I dont remember listening to the radio, or tv (was there tv then not sure). Believe my mother liked Hank Williams Sr back then. Although I am not sure.

Although the first I remember was possibly "Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho and the Alii's.

I don't know about the month but Elvis, (Presley, not Costello) had half a dozen #1 hits that year and a young Johnny Cash was burning up the charts on the country side with Ring of Fire. (see what I did there?) and a handful of others that became classics.

Mine was George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone".
