There should be fuel in the truck.....If the last person filled it up like they are suposed to! :ranting2: that does not happen very often.....

How about when it is parked? A lot of guys got warnings about how they left their tractors when parked, the safety man went through them all.

Hoses and electrical cord needs to hung, left in gear, tractor left clean, doors locked, VIR left in visable area, brakes set.

For our triple tractors, we need our long load sign, and splash skirts for the trailers in case it rains, these are the Orygun laws. Oh ya, we carry 3 locks.

flybynite, splash skirts?
Oregon requires them on triples, most outfits have them permanently mounted on their trailers they're strips of rubber(or UPS look like a long broom)mounted over the tires to supress spray coming up from the tires when it rains.Since OD does'nt have them permanently attached to the trailers Fly(and the other N.W.drivers) has to attach portable splash skirts on to the trailers with a U-clamp.Seems time consuming glad thats not required on LCV's here.
