I'm told to pull over and wake someone up until it gets fixed. Paper logs is not an option.

Paper logs are your only option if people net is not working, that is why your are suppose to carry a blank log book with you

I had that happen. Don't use for 48 hours. Allow people net to reset hours. But sucks your paper log for next 8 days.

Thats what I thought too,but I heard a driver got his butt chewed for switching to paper log after a PN malfunction.Maybe a positive clarification from a DOT cop would clear things up...
