they only hire the best of the best, if you do not have a great 7 yr MVR or a great emplyment record do not waste your time, they do check everything

Well, the 7 year mvr depends on terminal, yet it does have to be good. We have in last 2 years put 4 going on 5 part time dock hands through school, and 1 got on as line haul at terminal 50 miles away, 2 p&d full time, and 1 become combo. Our terminal gives all dock hands opportunity to driver qualify. Do wish OD was in our area when I was in my mid 20's. Be less beat up and a been financially stable a heck of a lot quicker.
