Yellow | where does holland fit in?

Seems to me that YRCW needs two things. An influx of cash and the ability to write down debt. It would not surprise me to see them sell off one of their subsidiaries. I thought it was going to be Roadway but who knows.

Aside from what BZ said in the conference call, I think they will need Holland more than ever. If they close down a terminal in each city or area that has 2 currently, I believe they will be at or near capacity at the remaining terminals. Assuming the economy picks up, they very easily could be over-capacity. That puts Holland and New Penn in a good position to take on the additional freight.

every one is talking about roadway and yellow merging, where does holland fit in now?

Very good question! They don't seem to be mentioned very much in the merger talks.
I know some USF Holland drivers I've bumped into this week are very worried and some are very angry.
I hope they end up fitting into the YRCW equation. (If not LTL maybe Truckload? Logistics? just speculating.)
