There are 3 driving positions hiring real close to me. 1 being a team driver "OTR" so that's out of the question, not interested in truckload division.
But the other 2 are:
1) "Tractor Trailer Driver - Dedicated Contract Carriage (DCC), a subsidiary of UPS Freight, has immediate openings for Tractor Trailer Driver Partners. DCC is a dedicated third party provider for private fleets in the transportation industry. Key sectors include automotive, manufacturing, building materials, retails and food products. This position involves the driving of a tractor trailer for regional delivery of freight to two or more locations. Dedicated Driver Partners work in a team environment and are primarily assigned to run freight for one customer, and may be assigned to an operation based at a specific customer location. The term DEDICATED refers to the customer, not a particular lane or destination.

2) Full time Road Driver - UPS Freight is hiring individuals to work as Full-Time Road Drivers. This position involves the driving of a tractor-trailer for the over-the-road delivery of freight to two or more service centers and then returning to the original domicile.
Road Drivers must pass a DOT physical and successfully pass a road test. Qualified applicants must have a valid Class A Commercial Drivers’ License with Haz-Mat and Twin Trailer endorsements, issued by this state. Road Drivers are expected to comply with all appearance standards.

Ok, so is the first one with the truckload division? If so, what are the pros and cons? pay? Just really been trying to get into LTL for the longest now and no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated
