i see many roadway drivers carrying doubles, or long boxes..

do you use the long boxes in linehaul, or for city p/d?

ans i see alot of tandem tractors pulling doubles...

just curious, to know about the company.

I think RWDY runs about 70 percent doubles and 30 percent long boxes.

The tandem units are used in case the driver is going to be pulling a heavy long box after he sets his pups down somewhere and needs the extra capacity so the DOT doesn't get upset with us. :hide:

We also have two-axle units that are set up to use a "Jif-Loc" dolly, which makes the unit a three axle with the back a tag axle with no power divider like a three axle unit, of course.

As for RDWY P&D city drivers, they use whatever combo is necessary to service the customers properly. Pup, Long-box, liftgate unit or doubles.
