when you could leave your house unlocked, come home, find nothing missing
when you could drive on the highways and bi-ways of this country, and not be shot at or attacked
when you could order take out, and get so much food, you needed a Red Flyer to get it home
when you could watch tv, and not see blood, gore, gratuitous sex, violence, and erectile medications
when you could be a truck driver and make some money and have a great meal at a greasy spoon
when you could go to a dog, horse, trotter race tracks, instead of an Indian Casino
when you could watch a NASCAR race, and they weren't smashing into one another like jerks
when you could enjoy your life, and not worry about the bills

i used to see bus after bus loads of Chinese people coming up from NY, to Foxwoods in CT......

what i do not like, and didn;t approve in in the last elections, was the "local" Indian tribe here, has land in the southern part of my state, and they bought land say further north, and wanted to "annex it' to thier southern land to open up another casino
i voted NO, as it is my belief, (and from what i have learned trying to "annex land", myself), is that the land MUST BE ADJACENT to your land, not miles, and miles away....
if they wanted to "annex" any land, they should have bought up all the area down by where they are...
that election day..the land annex proposition, was voted down....nearly overwhelmingly...
it is NOT a question of liking or disliking the Indian's, but a situation of "what's right, is right".....if we can't do it, why should they..????
