Today at 1300 CST everyone at the corprate offices were eliminated. Sales, rate Department, customer service, billing and human resourses. The only people left in the office is sales and line haul dispatch.

that sucks for everyone involved but maybe that's part of streamlining the company, doing away with with repetition and multiple "corporate HQ".

HUH? Sales was eliminated, but yet sales and linehaul dispatch are still there? What about IT? This is our IT headquarters.

Start of big changes? Maybe that was the whole idea with building that new office complex in Pittsburgh, retain control and communication only at the top? I would think people at Indy are very nervous this weekend. When you look at our revenue, then expenses, it all does make sense since most outlying centers are only duplicates of what would be in Pitt. Revenue minus expenses equals profit. Raise the first, drop the second, the third is bound to increase.

Sure, then they will be the same top heavy company they are today. We are not GE or Mobile Oil, we DO NOT need multiple headquarters across the US. Do not mean to offend anyone who lost their job, but this company has too much fat, it is not we are not generating revenue, they just have to many sucking paychecks above those that actually bring in that money
