We were asked in Dec 08 to take a 10% paycut, this will put YRC in step with the Non Unions and help YRC get through this recession. We (THE MAJORITY) voted yes throughout ALL of the YRC Companies. We recieved Lay-offs at many terminals and Yellow filed for a change of OPS and closed 90 of them. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! This is all they need we were told by our supposedly elected officals. Then 3 months later we were told they need a 14 month defferal of our pension by our officials. Which really turned out to be another 5% paycut, NO payment EVER into the pension and 20 cents an hour paid into our H&W. Our Union Brothers at YRC voted for this next round of cuts and they changed there OPS again.(90) more terminals are going to close. So I ask will a revote really matter or are we going to keep giving until there is nothing left before they close.
