So I was out working the weekend again, I am kind of tired right now two weekends in a row.

100 cases heavier this weekend then last weekend and a semi different stop configuration. My employer is making very sure that nobody is going thirsty this new years week. I expect this week coming up to be heavy. Today was heavy all kinds of 4/6's.

This morning I was at work and one of the drop lot drivers who I trained with, way back when it seems like a long time ago now walked in and said to me "You stuck it out you're still here."
"I said yeah I made it I guess."

    He goes
"Do you have a route now?"

    I said
"Yes, I do, out on the lower west side of Cleveland on 25th street and in the flats, down on west 10th street right outside of down town."

He goes "Well that's a lot different then where we working."
I said "When I was in Cleveland Heights, that is exactly what I thought, I thought of the time you said I would much rather be out here in the country at the drop lot then in East Cleveland or down town. Sure enough where did I end up Cleveland Heights which is right next to East Cleveland and then I got switched to right outside of down town and even had the pleasure of going down town once (that was an awful Thursday).

One of the other drivers who runs in Medina and Wayne County said that, he went "ahh January and February you won't be making any money then."

That is the same way for food. It slows down in Jan and Feb. Then in March it starts to pick back up in late Oct. Fun times.

We get a little up swing during Lent(we have our own fresh fish dept. in house) and then the week of Easter kicks up a little. From Mother's day week till the end of the year we are in full swing again.

We have been busy for the past 2 months, although this past week was not crazy busy. In fact I only had 15 stops on Friday that was the lightest day I have had probably ever.
