A regular guy would get a few million at most, depending on current income and number of working years remaining. The amount is based on loss of earning power. If you ask me, Walmart got off easy. Tracy Morgan would've earned a hell of a lot more than $90 million in the remainder of his career. We can discuss the ethics of putting a specific value on the worth of someone's life or loss of earning ability, but I guarantee if that same thing happened to you, you and your family would be suing the s*** out of them as well. The biggest shame is that his lawyer will be scooping up around $30 million for a relatively easy case that probably amounted to a year's worth of part-time work.
