If you guys are so infatuated with the union, it'll be WAY quicker for you to go over to a union carrier and start reaping the rewards immediately.

If you paid attention, different raises were explained a couple times already.

Maybe you are one of the many on this board that didn't attend the meeting because you don't work here?

A l/h guy to a big FAC talks to 100+ guys a night.

You talk to union P&D guys on your route and a few on inbound and outbound dock.

Teamsters would've steamrolled in already if you were such a majority.
 
The worst is yet to come because Con-way will spend every dime the have fighting the union, they have stated this more then once. Then we all lose, including my family.

It's a shame that you've been coached to believe the lies. Shareholders won't allow a closure and your cdl will always allow you to care for your family. It's gonna be ok....
 
The union carriers around my barn can't find enough drivers, y would you push so hard here when you could go there? Same reason it don't want a union at Con-way, I've got 15 yrs in and don't want to start over. But I will if the union shows up here. And we will be starting over if the union comes in. I'm not bashing any of you just stating my reasons for not wanting the union.

Not been coached, I have my own mind, I go to work every day and earn every dime I get, I was raised tht way and have raised my kids tht way. This job allows me a good life and your right I earned my cdl and have a spotless driving record so your right I'll always have a job but would prefer to retire right where I'm at. I don't like everything tht has happened but I'll continue to put my head down not worry about what everyone else is doing and do my job tht I get pad for.

Not every barn is the same and a lot of good drivers just like you have been escorted out the gate over conways ridiculous policies. I'm sure they just wanted the same thing you do.

Hope you have a back up plan and other means of income because this little retirement check from conway won't get us far . Just saying !

Share holders will do whatever they think makes them the most money. If closing this mess to bank on other investments is in the cards. Then that is exactly what they will do. Just because they are making money doesn't mean they are making as much money as they should be.
