It does seem strange that the union guys are only holding XPO accountable. A contract takes two parties. Nobody was forced to sign it.

Ironically it's not the "union guys" holding XPO responsible it's the California court system.

I'm not saying XPO did nothing wrong. All I'm saying is they weren't forced to take the job and have responsibility in it. I know in our current political atmosphere it's hard to imagine, but it's possible that both parties are wrong.

    The courts disagree with you.

How many times has the supreme court overturned the California courts?

The courts are saying the workers were forced to sign the contract?

I think the courts ruled they are employees, not contractors.

The problem is when someone screws up it everybody else's fault but there own. We don't know the fine print or if any changes were made durning the time. The one thing we can agree on is in no way did XPO hold a gun to there head and force them to sign. They sign on there own free will. Now if they didn't know what they were agreeing to or signing they should have gone a second opinion. In no way is the company 100% blame free in this. I am sure you all have taking advantage of someone or a situation that played into your favor.
Like P.T. Barnum said "there a sucker born every minute".

Is it safe to assume that Stand4afuture and Sucker666 are taking a seat in this conversation since they refuse to answer my questions?

Talking to guys that think the union is the bees knees, are like guys trying to get the hot girl to sleep with them. They'll say anything she wants to hear. The minute the girl calls the guys bluff, they get defiant and act like the girl did something wrong by calling him out.

So what's your solution to the problem ? You agree that we work for a greedy corporation and you claim all unions are the the same. What is your solution?

Unlike you, I haven't contradicted myself. Like I said in the private conversation, it's hard to have a debate when certain parties can't and won't answer questions so they claim my post are pointless.
What is my motivation? To keep the lying, cheating, greedy bastards that are the teamsters out of my wallet. They've taken enough.

Agreed. It is a fair question. I thought my questions were also fair, yet they go unanswered. Unanswered by quys that say the union is the answer. The cracks are starting to show in this old house.
