56 feet of freight vs 53 feet of freight. How is it wasteful? Same number of tires. Easier to maneuver.

This is last mile folks. Not ltl. Appliances, electronics, exercise equipment delivery and set up.

Rarely does a set leave our yard for local p&d. No where left in the metro area to spot trailers. We converted to 40' tandem axels many years ago. Plenty of stops to peddle and almost as easy to maneuver as a pup. You should suggest it to your TM.
