We seem to be having a problem with drivers in our yard being busted by the TM for speeding.Whats it like at your Terminal? I can see TM's point that you spend all day on the road dealing with idiots and when you come back to the yard it should be the safest part of your day.

Our terminal is small enough that it really has never been an issue

Hasn't been an issue but I do believe some guys enter the yard too fast.

i was told 25 max but need to use common sense some yards 15 would be enough

wil yard has always been 8 mph don't ask me why they came up with that number don't know but that is what it has been since we opened the terminal. but i have seen drivers going what seems to be 50 notice i said seems to be. i do know that some paromount drivers either don't know this speed limit or don't care because they go very fast through the yard every day.
