Every trucking company that has spoke on this has said they will only handle Yellow freight at increased rates.

Also, there would not be free trailer space on other carriers if they all had not laid off and been giving furlough time to drivers due to slow freight. SO YES, THE ECONOMY IS PLAYING A PART IN THIS.

I read that yellow made 21 million in profit on 5 billion in revenue. That seems almost impossible. Ups freight made just 31.million on 3 billion in revenue in 2018, but that was a planned strategy to give parcel customers lTl for nothing for all there highly profitable small packages .
Tfi increased profits 5 fold in 6 months by just cutting the fat and waste of ups.
Yellow was a horribly run company .
