I heard through the grapevine that there was a problem with the trailer coming off the 5th wheel. I hope a thorough investigation is made. My condolences to his family and to his fellow Cleveland-218 road drivers.
If you're coming east on I84, there's an unusually sharp, tricky left hand curve just before exit 17. Come into it too fast and it can be trouble. Sad news in any event.
Sorry to hear of it, May he Rest in Peace.
A person that departs from this world never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds. Rest In Peace Rob.
Fyi, Robert was a 211 driver.
Prayers for his Family.
that barn nearby lost many skilled employees over the years, trailer was probably loaded incorrectly
I refused a load the other night because there wasn't enough space between the top of duals to the bottom of the floor.Wasnt even two fingers of space.Load was leaning to one side
happens when you replace good workers with bad, im sure getting a new hire for 5 bucks an hour less is worth a life
Actually they found that the trailer had larger diameter tires. That's why there was so little clearance.
Rest In Peace Brother!
yeah for that incident, what about other incidents, the industry needs skilled people and those skilled people should be treated with respect
I hope you realize I was kidding about the tire size.
I can't speak for anyone else but I've always been treated with respect on the job and likewise I treat others with the same respect. I've also seen over my many decades working that many times individuals shoot themselves in the foot and ask for trouble. Just saying.
Yeah, people that do that to others usually to others usually find better jobs to work at.
