Yellow | YRC Worldwide-Could Further Consolidation Lead To A Buyout By UPS?

Get Tyson on the phone right away! Let's cut a deal with the UPS and YRCW execs as soon as possible. Right after the IBT election though!
:chairshot:
To paraphrase Frank Zappa, they've got a present for you! And it's looks just like a Telefunken U47.

UPS would sell the old trailers to Amazon for a really good price. Amazon wouldn't care about leaky trailers cause they'd replace the roofs and install drone platforms on them. Amazon will have self driving trucks so the driver can pilot the drone! It all makes perfect sense, you see.
FAA some day will have to approve the drones .Amazon will bribe members of congress and the Senate with free lifetime prime membership

It's not so far-fetched wongway! Think about it...UPS buys YRCW, and merges UPS Freight, YRC Freight, Holland, Reddaway, and Reimer into one LTL company. They pay the withdrawal liability to Central States and put the YRC Freight and Holland participants into the UPS-Teamsters pension plan after they cut a deal with the IBT, and the active members are sure to vote yes on getting out of Central States. This fulfills Welch and Pierson's dream of getting out of the Central States liability. UPS will end up with the largest LTL company in the world and will kick FedEx Freight's and the rest of their competitors butts. This will just about finish off the old NMFA contract companies. You know that ABF Freight is watching closely and their members will more than likely vote to get out of CSPF and into an ABF Freight-Teamsters pension plan similar to the one at UPS Freight. Very interesting developments indeed. Let the speculation continue!

Yeah. If I was running UPS, that would sound like a great deal. Pay 1.5 billion for a dilapidated company with a bunch of leased terminals. and then pay CSPF 8-10 billion more to get out of their fund...

Put down your crack pipe and get back to work!

we'll see who gets the last laugh here ??? just remember some of what same guys said back before they bought Roadway & Holland and ruined them !!! Buyout's can happen over a Golf game with Jamie !!!:6788:
They bring there knee pads when they play golf with the boss, and plenty of napkins,Being a kiss ass:butt kiss: ,is a messy job.

Look back at History of buyouts , who would have thunk , a Roadway or Holland or Conway would ever get bought out ?? and then look at the run down junk Overnite company they bought !!! what a mistake that was !! and it has been dead in the water since the buyout !! maybe a tax write off for ups ?? Nothing would be a surprise with yrcw any more !! never say never !!

Amen driver
