Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 1, 2018, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of YRC Worldwide Inc. (the “Company”) approved the formation of two new special committees of the Board.

Labor Committee

Created to provide advice and guidance to the Board and management in connection with anticipated labor negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (“IBT”) prior to the natural expiration of the current labor agreement on March 31, 2019.

Business Strategy Committee

Created to facilitate a coordinated and comprehensive analysis of the economic environment in the industry and provide the Board and management with advice and guidance on specific strategic initiatives across all operating segments in order to maximize operational flexibility in responding to competitive and other market-related influences.

Is this where their committee, using exhaustive, and far reaching analysis provided by the best minds in labor relations
and trucking, decides that YRCW has been overpaying the members of the bargaining unit for the last 10 years (as long as I've been here) and it's time for the said members of the bargaining unit to face economic facts? Wait, what? that's what we told them last time? hmmmmm well, they are only truck drivers, they can't remember what they had for breakfast. Just tell them what we've always told them. Oh wait Jimmy's negotiating for them? WHEW that's a relief, he'll get em in line....................
 
2019 is the time for all Driver's to stand together & grow a set and stop being a -15% CASH machine for the old greedy yellow pig !

So is the Union & Ernie gearing up too ??? 2019 is a simple plan "Pay the Rate or Lock the Gate " period , enough of this circus dog & pony show & clowns getting big Bonuses and getting rich off our -15% backs !!

The Union and Ernie are gearing up to present us with an offer that the company wants to push. The Teamster brass are more concerned with the possibility of losing our dues money than they are with getting back our 15%. We will never catch up with the non Union pay scale with Hoffa and company at the helm. Shut it down, Lock the gate.
