No that's why I posted all this info . They are two different companies . They both have the word DUETSCHE in them so people have always assumed they are one and the same .

All Deutsche means is "German" .

Deutsche Bank AG (XETRA: DBKGN.DE / NYSE:DB) and Deutsche Post AG announced today that they have completed the transaction disclosed on 14 January 2009 for the acquisition of shares of Deutsche Postbank AG.
Deutsche Bank’s acquisition of 50 million Postbank shares (approx. 22.9%) will be effective with the registration in the commercial register of the capital increase in kind of 50 million Deutsche Bank shares in the name of Deutsche Post. With the registration of the capital increase, Deutsche Post will hold a stake of approximately 8% in Deutsche Bank.

Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan are just handling the transactions and agreements and are not the owners or stockholders---

Since indenture agreements can be very technical, the issuer usually appoints a trustee (usually a large bank) to act on behalf of the bondholders in certain situations, including making sure the issuer is abiding by the covenants, paying interest on time, collecting and distributing certificates, and so forth.
