terminal or hub loads a pup like a city trailer and linehaul delievers it to a secure package yard. a city driver then comes in during the day and runs p&d. these are being setup in areas that we do not have direct points to like montana, south & north dakota, upper penisula of michigan.

We will be seeing alot of these in the future.

Hello Van man and welcome to the boards, tell everyone about us and hope you have a good stay. And you are 100% correct.
 
It is a good thing it speeds up freight which helps us all out, I see shipments in FL that are going to and from zone terminals, this could be more shippers using us becuase of these changes.
 
I began to really think about it, as simple as it is, these zone terminals sound amazing from a business standpoint.
