I haven't heard about the 2013 order. The next year order usually isn't announced till late in the year. From what I hear International is having problems with the "double EGR". Mack is building a fleet tractor that matches ABF needs more than Freightliner. Freightliner seems to not want to offer as many options or deleting what is seen as not necessary. One positive for Freightliner is the DD13 engine. Daimler lost a lot of fleet customers when it closed the Sterling line. I haven't heard any numbers on the Freightliner cost per mile compared to Mack. I didn't answer your question but if I know any facts I will let you know.

So in other words, they don't want Freightliners because of the built in creature comforts, and the Internationals because of EPA problems. The Harvesters I understand. The power windows, adjustable mirrors on the left, and all the other stuff the removed from the lot they have now.....PATHETIC.

WHY MAKE THE VEHICLES MORE COMFORTABLE TO DRIVE WHEN THEY MIGHT GET MORE PRODUCTION AS A RESULT? Just goes to prove their philosophy....If it makes sense, fuggedaboudit.

These Macks are the most dangerous trucks I have ever driven in my life. The crap on the windshield draining onto the side windows obscuring the view just for starters.....

Maybe there is a good way to fix this that keeping the company harmless.....Perhaps contacting the NHTSA could remedy this......Good Idea, thanks!!!

Yes 400 Macks, and I think another 50 or 70 between Freight-liner and International. Looks like they are willing to give Mack some competition so as to keep prices down in the future. YOUR BROTHER ALWAYS!
