I don't see how this any of this matters to any of us. I don't know about you guys but I don't haul anything to Mexico or from Mexico. The deal is that Mexican trucks can haul a load in to US and then haul a load out. They are not going to haul our freight, they are not going to replace anybody except those drivers who pull freight up from the border and then back down again. No big deal I say AS LONG AS DOT GOES OVER THAT EQUIPMENT WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB WHEN IT COMES ACROSS OUR BORDER.

Not trying to start any arguments, Rad, but give it some time, and they will be picking up TL, LTL destined for AZ, CA, NM, Tx,and beyond. Not written any where that they cannot haul LTL. All of the US companies will suffer from this.

radman, you really need to research how invasive this plan is, and how little oversight there is in this plan. If your counting on your DOT to put them out of service, forget it. Once they start doing that, they will have heavy pressure from suits in washington to ease up, and turn a blind eye... mark my words.

Open your eyes and see the BIG picture. Once in the USA, money talks. Mexican broker to Conway Corporate, "we can haul that load across country for $200 less." Once one of these "professionals" kills some congressman's family/friends, then all He!! will break loose.
