I hate the stupid front office people. Same at con-way. I called a terminal the other day and asked to speak to the personnel supervisor. I identified myself as a current employee, and she didnt want to give me the guys work contact number. Ridiculous.

Try to find out the manager's email or HR guy and try to get around that first hurdle. Make friends with a driver and get it that way. You're a smart guy and very knowledgeable so I'm sure you'll eventually get on somewhere decent

Thanks for the positive encouragement! Made it through the initial interview and am waiting on a call-back from YRC to be a road driver. Not my ideal choice, but if they can keep pulling themselves out of the financial hole they got themselves into and can become viable again, not a bad gig.

It's hard to catch me. 3500+ last week and moving around pretty good this week after a slow start. If you see someone strutting around that looks like he's got it going on. Give me a shout and we will do what we can. Lol

I got a senior driver from estes looking out for me. And the same at odfl. I am desprate to get out of vitran. After reading the 2nd quarter report, we lost more money then the 2nd quarter of 2011. That is 14 straight quarters that they were at a loss, the only reason they stay afloat. Is becuz the ltl in "ohh canada" is making alot of dough. Sooner or later they will cut off the dead weight. Meaning the ltl of the great united states of america. Maybe i should just move to china. I heard they got alot of "former" u.s.a. Jobs..... Sad but true!
