The maker of the gun, being shipped to stores this week, brags that "even a novice shooter can become an elite long-range marksman in minutes."

How about Post Transportation? It was the contract carrier for Stauffer Chemical. It had terminals in Richmond and Los Angeles CA and Henderson NV. One of the best outfits to work for as it had reliable, fast, and powerful tractors and good maintenance for all of its equipment. Mostly hauled sulphuric acid, caustic soda, and alum.

How about Southern Tank Lines. Without a doubt Southern Tank Lines had the prettiest fleet on the road. Mostly hauled diesel and gasoline. I worked out of its Martinez CA terminal. The headquarters was at a refinery at Paramount CA. I used to moonlight for Southern and Post when I was a firefighter in Richmond CA.

There were a few other outfits that might be included such as Salt Lake City based IML (Interstate Motor Lines or Ignorant Mormon Labor -- no offense that's just what the outfit was called just like at CF was Chicken F...ers.) IML had a large terminal down in the Port of Oakland area as did Ringsby, LASME (Los Angeles -- Seattle Motor Express), Merchants, and a few others. Long story as to why I gotta go with them. Got my CDL-A in 03, and, after putzing around a bit, proceeded to go with small time operator. I hit a light pole in 2004. I wasn't with the guy long. Anyhow, I decided on them, because instead of sending to some stupid school and making me pay for that, (and not getting paid) they're gonna send me to Indianapolis for a week of class and then, with a trainer for like 4-5 weeks. I can live with that. :1036316054:

So, I might post in here and on my blog, which I cannot post the URL to here... :ranting2:

Anyhow, I hope this joint is friendlier than the last one... holy moly those people were not nice.

So i'm in Illinois. We will finally have a concealed carry here in a few weeks. No thanks to the goofy politicans that run this state.

I'm under the understanding they will be doing back ground checks. Which is fine so question is the Background check that the TSA did on me for my hazmat endorsement. Will that suffice the concealed carry background check or will I be forced to pay for another check and wait it out.

Hoping someone from another state will know the answer.

Thanks to my lovely and talented city driver they have now both been removed and the dreaded R260 Bridgestones (city tires) are on there, unbalanced and on rusty dirty rims, as usual and now the truck pulls like hell to the right. I am HIGHLY disappointed and at wits end as to what to do about it. :soapbox:

Look at ANY of our sleeper trucks and you will see Bridgestone 287's which are much softer tires with the heat ring along the edge. Those drive like a dream but these 260's are horrible.

If a daycab is on a road run it should have the 287's on it. The cost, from what I hear, is about the same.
